Standard accounts
Standard accounts are typically Standard and Standard Cent. Most of the cost sits in the spread, which is easier to read if you are still learning orders. Standard Cent is quoted in cents, so you can watch P&L at a smaller size. Leverage and the risk of losing money are still there.
Professional accounts
Professional accounts are typically Pro, Zero, and Raw Spread. Some use a tight spread plus commission; others quote closer to the raw spread. The same name can mean different contract specs depending on the company.
- Pro — built for frequent trading. Commission depends on the account terms.
- Zero — very tight spread, often with commission.
- Raw Spread — raw spread plus commission.
Accounts are not platforms
An account type is not the same as MT5, MT4, Terminal, or Trade. Some accounts only work with a given terminal or server. Before you download or log in, match the account number, password, and server. Platform links are on the download page.
