What is Exness?

Exness is an international CFD broker. You get a trading account, a few ways to log in, and access to global markets. You can chart and trade from MetaTrader 5 (MT5), MetaTrader 4 (MT4), Exness Terminal, or Exness Trade.

The product has three parts: accounts, platforms, and markets. Account types include Standard, Standard Cent, Pro, Zero, and Raw Spread. You can work from a desktop terminal, a browser, or a phone. Markets typically include forex, metals, energy, indices, stocks, and crypto CFDs.

The same account can be used from more than one terminal — desktop, web, or mobile, depending on the device in front of you. Spreads, commissions, and minimum volume still depend on the account type. Go by the company that holds the account, and by what the live account shows.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers on accounts, platforms, and markets.

Exness is a broker brand for CFDs on forex, metals, energy, indices, stocks, and crypto. This page is a product overview, not an invitation to open an account and not investment advice.

Exness holds the trading account. MetaTrader 5 is a terminal you log into with an account number, password, and server. They are separate products from separate companies.

Most people use MetaTrader 5, MetaTrader 4, Exness Terminal, or Exness Trade. Which one you can use depends on the account type, the device, and which Exness company holds the account.

Accounts usually come in two families: Standard and Professional. Standard and Standard Cent are in the first; Pro, Zero, and Raw Spread in the second. Spreads and commissions differ. Use the terms shown when you open the account.

Usually yes. A demo account lets you learn the screens and order flow without real money. Demo prices, fills, and fees are not the same as a live account.

You can typically trade CFDs on forex, metals, energy, indices, stocks, and crypto. The instrument list, contract specs, and sessions can change.

Exness Terminal is the web platform. You can log in, watch prices, and place orders without installing a desktop terminal. It isn’t MetaTrader 5, so the features aren’t the same.

The spread is the gap between bid and ask — one way you pay to trade. Commission is a separate fee on each trade. Some accounts bake the cost into the spread; others show a tighter spread and charge commission on top.
